A room with a long memory
The original Lockwood's Saloon stood on the west side of Alamo Plaza, open day and night, with a large and airy reading room attached. Ours keeps the hours and the hospitality — and pours whiskey distilled a few feet away.
Sit at the bar, take a table under the portraits, or head upstairs to the mezzanine. Every cocktail on the list starts with a Maverick spirit.

Choice of Straight Bourbon, Rye, or Agave Reposado with simple syrup, Angostura bitters, and orange peel.

Brewed on site
Simple but light, almost straw in colour. Crystal, with a spicy, earthy tone.
A pale ale with an English ale yeast giving piny notes and a little citrus.
A classic amber/red OktoberAle mash with a Norwegian farmhouse yeast to make ours pop.
Imperial stout named for a cannon found by the Maverick family, now at the Long Barrack. 10oz pour — upstairs only.
West-coast IPA balancing malty sweetness and hoppy bitterness, pine and citrus. 100 IBU.
