1824 Agave Blanco

Weber Blue Agave, Unaged and Unhurried

Samuel Maverick 1824 Agave Blanco is distilled from 100% Weber blue agave and bottled unaged, so nothing stands between the agave and the glass.

Without time in oak there is nowhere for an agave spirit to hide. What you taste is the plant, the cook, and the still — bright, clean, and vegetal, with the pepper and citrus that come from the agave itself.

How to Drink It

Nothing between the agave and the glass

An unaged agave spirit is the most transparent thing a distillery can bottle. Serve it neat to taste the raw material, or build it into a Paloma where Valley grapefruit meets it head on.

Nowhere to Hide

An unaged agave spirit is the most transparent thing a distillery can bottle. There is no barrel to add colour, sweetness or spice, and nothing to soften a rough cut. What reaches the glass is the agave, the cook, and the still.

Made at 115 Broadway by the same team that makes the whiskey, from 100% Weber blue agave and bottled at 80 proof.
